My favorite Easter candy - these:
Sugar-candy outer (in white or pink or lavender or blue or yellow), inside is a white marshmallow center. Mmmmmmm.
They're hard to find these days. I'm going lookin' this weekend. Target and Walgreen's didn't have 'em.

(426 posts)....if you're careful, you can split then in half lengthwise. Then lick out the luscious creamy filling! Second to that I'd have to say Peeps....but the original yellow kind only . I am a purist about some things!

(37,648 posts)I like all the colors, though. They even come in white, now, too, I think.

(21,020 posts)My all time favorite Easter candy!
I never knew anybody else who ever liked them.
And yes...they are very hard to find
Second favorite...peeps. In fact, I'm just finishing off a small package of purple chicken peeps. Bit off their asses, then their heads. Mmmmm
Honeycombe8
(37,648 posts)Problem with Peeps is that they are so lightweight that I tend to eat too many and get kinda sick.
I love the pure sugar candy.
pipi_k
(21,020 posts)goodness inside those candy shells!
The red ones were my favorites.
And yeah, the peeps. I only ate five of them (with a glass of chocolate milk) before bedtime last night and didn't feel very well for a while.

The malted milk egg things like whoppers but in egg form with candy coating. Great for coloring lips when I was a kid, hehe.

Be careful of the sugar coating. It gets ridiculously hot and sticky. I burned my fingers.
I plan to try the microwave peeps next...
Favorite Easter candy is the malted milk eggs.

I can't find the chocolate coated ones this year but I have not done an extensive search.

I always liked those pinwheel cookies with the chocolate coated marshmallow so I think that's why I liked the dipped peeps. And Trader Joe's has a minty chocolate covered marshmallow that's delicious!
The Queen of cookies!
