What do you call that feeling when you sleep a really long time?

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I didn't take any drugs. Except caffeine, I guess.

But for some reason, I slept for something like fourteen straight hours.

Just exhaustion, I guess.

And then, when I woke up, it still seemed like I was in a dream. Everything seemed like a dream. Just a weird feeling that I can't really describe.

Can anyone relate to what I'm talking about?

I just say I feel dopey from too much sleep.

Good thing it's a Sunday and you can rest. (I hope!)

That's what we're supposed to feel like, without all the lightning bolts of modern life jamming our brains constantly. I don't think anyone gets enough sleep anymore.

Even on weekends I wake up at the same time I do during the week (4:30 am). I can usually manage to go back to sleep, but it's fitful. I get up about 9 or so and about an hour or so later I'm dragging.

I have just about given up on getting a decent, restful sleep again. The job I have right now sure isn't helping anything, either.

Wouldn't it be nice if all people could hibernate?
We could doze through the primary season.
