Is that beyond rude or what? I can't really say anything since I'm just freelancing. But everyone else uses earbuds.

(26,117 posts)but I have an office, and if I really crank it, I close my door.
I wouldn't want to listen to anyone else's music, no matter what the genre. Chances are, it wouldn't fit my mood on a given day.

(1,999 posts)I had an officemate who liked smooth jazz. Every day. It drove me insane.

He doesn't care what I play (I have 30k songs on a music server) as long as it isn't country. I usually crank up a little bluegrass when he goes home.
next up: Pungent Stench - The Passion Of Lucifer.

I also heard the ticket for Deicide is only $12 or 13. So it might be worth the drive :p
OriginalGeek
(12,132 posts)that's a great price for a Deicide show. I haven't seen them since their first album tour. I want a new Deicide shirt!
Don't forget Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, Immolation and Magrudergrind on Wednesday, June 12 for 20 bucks at the Beacham. I like the couple songs I've heard off the new Immolation album.

(13,985 posts)Hey,
I had someone in a cube next to me once come over to me and say wow, that really is loud, speaking of her music in her cube while she stood in my cube, she went back and did not turn it down. Everyone else uses earbuds, I just do not get some people. Rude? Hell yes it is!
Peace

(4,452 posts)I was listening to classical music and had my car window open when I pulled into the lot at work today. A guy I work with got out of his car, walked over and said "what are you listening to that shit for?"
As for the situation you described - I'm all everyone doing their own thing when it comes to music, but death metal in a cube environment would be hard to take.
