Lived in Oklahoma my entire life, and I've never seen anything like last night. Someone said it was like a hurricane that was spitting out tornadoes. I think that's a pretty good description. Six tornadoes, nine dead so far, flooding everywhere, we almost didn't make it home from where we had gone to take cover. Over 100,000 without power, and we are still in flood warnings. Thankfully we are not expecting any weather today. I thought it would never stop raining.
But if you look out the window this morning, it's a beautiful day, 68 degrees with a cool breeze.
Welcome, June--we've been looking forward to your arrival.
