Anyone ever have a relative they saw often, but you're grateful now that they've died?

Racist, Jew-hater, Catholic-hater, (somehow, to him, the Jews were to blame for the Catholics,) always had the "I know everything" attitude.

Even when the asshole died, he died on Christmas Eve, so we spent Christmas at a funeral.

But nothing like that. We would still be shocked and upset if they died. We just don't want to talk to them or have much to do with them on a regular basis.

I had a couple of dotty old aunts, but they were lovable in their own eccentric ways.

My husband's family were the unredeemable ones, though. I don't miss any of them.

Specifically, I had two aunts, one on my mom's side and one on my dad's side, both of them were dreadful old harpies and I disliked them so much I made excuses so I didn't have to go to either one of their funerals. Yuck!
