Can't tell my joke about the man shortage, as it will get me banned by the PC Police.

They put on a terrific show.

I was a fan of a fun local Seattle group called Afraid Of Figs, until they broke up a few months ago. They were great. Punk group. Not angry punk, though. Funny punk.

They did a killer rendition of The Ramones' "I Wanna Be Sedated."

They were all guys with families and day jobs. The reason they broke up is because the saxophonist and co-lead singer and his wife had just had their second child, and wanted to spend more time with the kids.

No need to feel old about that...

Here's their biggest hit: "I Ate A Vegan."

I was living the life in Austin, Tx.

Blue jeans, and t-shirts.

I had a collectiion of cool wide bream hats, sort of western.

It was hot and one needed sun protection.

Live music on 6th street, who need disco.

Nothing wrong with disco, but it wasn't for me.

Music was mostly good into the mid 70's, then disco happened. It's been mostly downhill since then.

I love the idea of a man cave, mine would be a lot of retro video game equipment, high end home theatre stuff (if I had the money), a bar and maybe a pool table.

But women should have the same thing no? Though for the life of me I can't think what such a room would consist of?
