being good at the little things. I used to be so sweet when I was a kid and a teen and a young adult. Then my life was destroyed and I got angry and afraid. I'm going to make a concerted effort to get back my sweetness. I miss looking at the world with rose colored glasses. I will still be barbs and elbows at times. But when I'm not struggling I'm going to will myself to the past and the many ways I was kind.

(2,299 posts)I'm trying not to become bitter and to be fair. It's not really reclaiming anything, just trying to keep maturing in thought and action. It was one of my many new year's resolutions, to stop thinking like a spoiled child.
I've read quite a few of your posts, because I'm a big reader, too, and you seem sweet to me. Have you seen how some people are on the internet? I mean, being decent while on the computer is no small thing.

Please know that anger and fear never destroyed your sweetness....
I'm sorry that something horrific happened...
Your inner-self shines through .... here and now....
Gentle and kind....
Of course we all have feelings about who and what we are ... and should or could be.
Please don't be hard on yourself...
You're precious...
peace~

(10,039 posts)I played soccer for 7 years, then I discovered the Internet. That obviously made my hamstrings short, my blood thicker, and harmed the posture of my buttocks.
I'm also going to eat healthier because it's cheaper, and I'm going to try to improve my mind as always. Maybe solve logic puzzles, learn how to play the guitar, relearn math or learn a new language. You know, the things I claim I'll do and never do.
