if i had $50,000 for every creative work i've written in the past five years i'd be rich

if i had $25,000 for each piece i've written in the last five years i'd be rich

if i had $10,000 for each piece i'd be in really great financial shape

$5,000 for each would really take care of all the financial problems both now and in the near future.

what would make your financial troubles melt away?

Three grand would be enough... I'd be a legal entity with enforceable contracts and could cover the 90 day CA. LLC franchise tax burden (obviously intended to prevent frivolous startups, but a barrier non-the less). I code... it doesn't cost much to operate.

And I'd stop posting on DU!

I own a second home that I've been unable to sell, a small condo, so I'm making two house payments right now. The 85k would pay off that, pay off my car and credit card debt, pay for the school debt I've already incurred, and pay for the rest of my schooling until I get my degree.

It probably doesn't sound like a lot of money to some people, but it looks like a mountain of money to me.
