And title it: "Juno Beach", or something like that.

The Canadians were the only national group among the ABC Allies (Americans, British, & Canadians) who accomplished all of their planned objectives for D-Day in Normandy.

It's worth remembering. I was having an off-the-cuff discussion about the Normandy invasion with a friend one time, and mentioned the successes of the Canadians. He replied: "Canada? I didn't even know they had an army!"

After I got over my shock, I pointed out to him that yeah, Canada has an army; then and now, one of the best in the world for its size.

Kudos to James Doohan, and his contributions to victory in Europe.

May he rest in peace.
