If they are on YOUR mail ignore list YOU will not be called to jury THEIR posts but, they can be called to jury YOURS.

If THEY put you on THEIR mail ignore then THEY will NOT be called to jury YOUR posts.

I always get it mixed up ... so what you are saying is that

mail ignore is another way to extend the Jury Black List, is that right?

Am I understanding all this correctly now?

This IS a discussion board - some on the juries don't get that.

Differences of opinion are normal even within a small circle of face to face friends.

So it should not be a shock that within a gang of over 200,000 that there will be friction.

Think we should let most of them sort it out themselves.

I'm manually ignoring a bunch of people, but I'm only actually ignoring 2.

One has been a persistent and consistent jerk for as long as I've been on DU, and the other has a tendency to dump an avalanche of (to me) useless posts into the forum daily, to the point that it was too much work wading through his stuff to get to what I wanted to read.

I'm up to 106/111 now. Go figure.
