While I have no doubt he would take anyone who ever hurt one of the kids in that house apart, he loves those kids and falls asleep with the kiddies sleeping on him all the time. Rots are very protective and great fighters, but they have huge hearts and a lot of love to give. Pics like that show what a Rot really is, a big dog to be respectful of, but one that can love kids, kittens and be a great family dog. One problem is that they eat a lot, so only get one if you can afford it.
