Strange question to ask fellow guitarists

I was at guitar center looking for the first truly new guitar to buy in years. I have a thing for 90s Jackson guitars so I usually just buy used guitars but anyway not the point. Is it just me or have more modern guitars become smaller they have 24 frets but just seems smaller.

I tend to go for acoustic guitars, and I've only had two electric ones. Yes, I was a teen in the 90s so I went for a Stratocaster. I keep thinking I want to get myself a Les Paul, but I never did.

I have not noticed if the guitars have gotten smaller.

Although! You might be right. I seem to remember some guitars in the 90s had thicker and a wider neck. I believe they made the necks thinner to make it easier to play.

Case in point, I love my Taylor Big Baby which is smaller than a full sized guitar but it sounds awesome. The construction has a metal rod that can adjust the warp on the neck.

Dunno...I have an old Washburn,22 frets, which is really no different size wise than my 2 Stratocasters,21 frets, one being new,the other 10 years old.All 3 seem to be the same size as a friends 60s model Telecaster...Then again,I'm no expert,my experience is limited to Fenders and the 1 Washburn, and I've only been playing for a little over a year...
