Not that it feels all that summery, but I held a meeting last night that I'd been dreading for weeks. I'm free! I'm free! For the summer, anyway.

He is a doctor who has been an ER doc. He is also one of the country's best poets. His book, "What the Body Told" has some of the most astounding poetry you could ever read. And one cycle in the book is called (I think this is right) "Ten Patients and One Other", with each poem being the story of what's going on with the provider or the patient in that room.

I think you'd love it, and it would make you cry. It sure as hell made me cry.
