Out for a quick walk when I came across this mini van. How did they manage to even get that much junk in there? I'm assuming this is the car of a horder? You can't quite see in this pic but the junk is floor to ceiling top, front to back. There is barely enough room for a driver.
And some of the stuff looks like it might be food D:
NOTE: As pointed out I suppose someone could be living in this car, if so no offence intended. These are hard times. But even then it's a LOT more messy than I would expect.

(6,154 posts)There is a lot of random stuff like old newspapers and what looks like food. Not trying to make fun of anyone, I was just shocked by it. I would think if someone were living in it, if these were all their possessions, that it wouldn't be so random.

(38,311 posts)... her house looked like that.
And eventually when she was forced into an assisted care place where they didn't allow her hoarding she tied everything she could to her wheelchair with plastic bags and string. They let her do that because otherwise she'd become violent.
I'd take her for "walks" which meant pushing around an eighty pound old lady in a wheelchair with a hundred pounds of trash tied to it.
There's no sense to it, and there were treasures hidden away in the trash. A fast food box could contain mummified food or a hundred dollar bill.

(21,484 posts)but her house was crammed with what turned out mostly to be trash. But when she went to assisted living, my sisters, knowing that Grandma tended to stash cash, had to go through everything because it might contain cash. They found over seven thousand dollars.

(49,988 posts)I met one of the drivers. She was the director of a well organized and tidy museum. But her car was mess. There was barely room for her in the front seat. Back seat and passenger seat were filled to the ceiling.
