I HATE Bethesda

Thought we would have a lovely Sunday, with brunch and then a movie. So we drove over to Bethesda. An hour later and after cruising through two parking structures unable to find a place to park, we gave up.

Have had that experience in Georgetown, too. Retiring back to Michigan in 2014, and none too soon.

Well...actually it's pretty ugly but we have both a big-box theatre and the AFI Silver, they just opened a Pete's (who I feel has the best pizza in metro-DC) or any number of other restaurants.

Plenty of parking. More than we'd ever need, there's two additional garages on Dixon and Bonifant that they're not even using.

When I visit, my car never leaves Northern Silver Spring (except for the occasional visit to Arundle Mills). I use the Metro/RideOn as much as humanly possible. Wish we had this kind of set-up in the greater Cleveland area . . . my car would last 20 years.
