That's how I do it. Or you can sweep, pull-back, sweep, pull-back, sweep, pull-back and even then you don't get it all.

dampen a rag to pick up the line of dust and the dust is gone till you clean the rag then it comes back =perpetual motion.

I've learned to ignore it. And maybe I've noticed that small line of dirt in the past but I don't care anymore.

The only thing that used to bother me was sticky but now that my kids are adults that doesn't happen too often any more. As little kids they started making their own PBJ sandwiches and everything was sticky for a few years.
