It was a superb many-coursed tasting meal and the wine very nearly beat
everything else in that extraordinary meal.

I worked in an Italian restaurant and we got instruction on Italian wines and had many tastings. I came to like the earthiness of Italian reds and never really cared for the whites, especially the dessert wines.

But, like I said, there's no Italians reds nearby. Chianti = pfft. I want a Barolo or at least, a Barbaresco. French reds just don't "do it" for me.

I know. It sounds so weird. All of a sudden I'm digging a white dessert wine. And a cheap one at that! Oak Leaf!

But, fuck it. I like it. It tastes smooth without being cloying. It's crisp but not a brain freeze like some white can be.

Here's to gettin' tipsy on discount Moscato!

the GOP lege can eat your cat's box ( I bet DUers would help raise the $ to FedEx it to them).
