(10,419 posts)I couldn't stand her fake/phony-ass persona before the current issue.
Nothing will ever erase seeing her making a cheeseburger with a glazed donut instead of a bun though. I wasn't watching her show intentionally. Just happened to click on it & couldn't believe what I was seeing.

But I would like to live long enough to see those that made me suffer,
suffer themselves.
I'm not into this "forgiveness" thing.
ONE or two bad behaviors towards me I can overlook - but a constant harassment
nope - no sympathy for whomever hassled me when bad times hit them.
No intention of getting physically violent with those that abused me.
I'll let karma, momma nature, the spirits, whatever do that.
Never been a violent man.
Ain't gonna start now.

(12,712 posts)That's the cement that has been responsible for taking a dynamic, realistic and timeless reality that is absent, open, spontaneous and unified and turning it into some kind of long-term, dipshit place for all this ridiculous and actually necessary stuff to appear as if it was some sort of fucking miracle that we really, really needed in the first place and now, billions and billions of people are paying oh so dearly, rent for the privileged of living on the planet they were born on and paying rich fucks for the right to eat, drink and breath.
That is now something that no other creature on this planet has really ever been subject to until recently. They were only subject to the periodic and cyclical aspects of nature with all its random elements. Now, we actually live in a methodical and seemingly powerful and predictable transfer of all that power into the hands of a few who are somehow, (endowed by that GOD guy they talk about as a way to justify their behavior) seemingly in charge of the fate of the rest of us and all the other species on this great planet.
How in the heck did that come to be and do Richard Dawkins or J. Christ or anybody in-between have any insights at all as to how we are supposed to make sense of this current conundrum other than to resort to Dzogchen, (the Great Perfection) which is going to confuse and bewilder everyone today, but will turn out to be the actual religion and viewpoint, (that will then become suspect and subject to schisms, etc. as the cycles progress) for future America?
We have much, much, much on our plates. Conventional thinking and reasoning will not even come close to cutting the cake or even giving us something stable to lean on as we move into the increasing complexity and telescoping of discoveries and novelty that will inevitably increase in exponential ways as we continue on this track.

(4,033 posts)I stopped off at the BP last night. At the car next to me was a man rummaging through his trunk. I asked if he needed anything (I thought he was having trouble with his car). His answer was that he was looking for a pair of long pants. He was a guy in his mid '30's, and hand a t shirt and shorts on. The logo on his shirt was of a police dept., that I learned that he had worked at (disbanded now), but that he had a shot at a City Officer position. That is not all I learned from him, this is the list:
President Obama was not born in Hawaii
President Obama is a Traitor and has done many Acts of Treason
All illegal immigrants must be deported
All people who accept Social Security Disability, Food Stamps, etc. must be drug tested
Democrats commit acts of Voter Fraud and everyone must show an ID in order to vote
If a woman wants an abortion she must have a vaginal ultrasound & be shown a picture of the fetus
President Obama is the "Manchurian Candidate"
No government employee should have a retirement plan
Social Security must be outlawed
His 78 year old mother who has fought cancer 4 times, will end up before a death panel, if she gets cancer again
The best college in the US is Hillsdale College in Hillsdale College, because it doesn't accept money from the government
Everyone must have a shotgun in their house to protect themselves and this must be the law
He personally own guns in order to fight against the tyranny of the government
So these people really do exist
That's all I can remember, because my head was hurting so much. By the way, I could if I was mean enough, I could harass him as I asked him to text me info on the college, which he did and I now have his cell phone number.
