So, it was not good news on the biopsies for my loved ones.
Not as bad as it could have been, but both are cancer.
I'm just thankful that one cancer is probably Stage I or II (until another biopsy comes in in about two weeks - that will be the final staging determinant).
The other cancer, well, we'll see next Wednesday. So more vibes if you have them to spare.
But this means my mind scattered completely and I've hardly followed the news. What's this about Wendy Davis and the Texas legislature? Anything else important that someone would be willing to bullet-point for me? 
The super great news from the Supreme Court yesterday did break through my haze, but some of the other, interesting stuff probably hasn't...

*She filibustered an onerous anti-abortion law on the last day of the TX Senate special session for 13 hours and ultimately killed it.
*The GOP tried to pass it at 3 past midnight & claim they passed it at 11:58PM.
*Lots of people, including me, watched it live on the internet.
*Also the AP caught them in a lie...with documents and time-stamps.
*At 4AM, the GOP TX State Senate President and Lt. Gov. had to admit the bill failed.
That's the bullet points.
Sen. Davis is a hero. A lot of us didn't sleep. I never went to bed because I got on a Metro train at 6Am to go rally outside the Supreme Court for all the people I knoew on DU who I knew would want to be there and couldn't be. I wasn't disappointed. 
hoping good news - or at least, no more bad news - is on the way re stages of cancer...
I wish things had been different for your loved ones...
But we aren't done fighting for them!
