What is this bug?

longer than my index finger and (I'm bad at measurement) about a 1/2" wide..and I'm glad it's on the outside of the window.

I am not posting a photo because I don't want to have nightmares. Their larvae are scary enough. Then they grow wings. It's a holy fucking shit jesus christ on a cracker get me outta here bug.
