I'm trying to figure out what to try next, or if anyone had an opinion on any of these.

Edit - I also had the two Surly Ales on the list too - forgot I put those. Definitely love those two.

Optimator is probably one of the better German imports you can get easily, a pretty tasty dark lager. Pliny the Elder I've only had once, but it was incredible - definitely one I'd go out of my way to try again.

I just drove up to Waterbury VT to get some the other day and it was well worth the ride!

The "factory" is tiny but they have samples and sell out EVERY weekend.

Working on getting someone to send me the Surly brews, they're not available where I live, but I've heard good things. Pliny the Younger is only available on tap at "selected locations" for a two week period once a year. Hope to taste all of the others eventually, thanks to the kindness of my You Tube subscribers. Here are my thoughts on the two I've had:

but I've seen this very video before! I think I found it while looking for others' opinions on Spaten Optimator, and had no clue that was you. Thanks for the reviews!

Now I'm gonna be watching beer reviews all day (who wants to work anyhow? )

at Der Linden Baum in Fredericksburg, Tx, I always get an Optimater. It is a fantastic beer.
