we can now turn our attention to Little Feat.
Srsly, an entire FB page is devoted to this effort.

What's the holdup? They don't even suffer from the HoF's anti-prog rock bias like Rush did.

OP
And that's not even their best album. 'In Rock' and 'Made in Japan' are both classics.

Both Little Feat and Deep Purple's continued exclusion for the RRHOF is a travesty.
One of the all time greatest intros in Rock. Rest of the song kicks ass too!

(10,000 posts)6. One of my favorite recent albums is "Join the Band"
Join the Band is a 2008 album recorded by Little Feat. Their first studio album in five years, it features no new original songs but is a set of collaborations with other artists such as Bob Seger. Emmylou Harris, Dave Matthews and Inara George. It was released on July 1, 2008.
The album was recorded at Jimmy Buffett's studio and co-produced by Feat keyboard player Bill Payne with Mac McAnally of Buffett's Coral Reefer Band. "Something in the Water" was originally recorded by co-writer Jeffrey Steele.
It also turned out to be the band's last work with singer Shaun Murphy, with whom they parted company in 2009, and with drummer Richie Hayward who died from cancer in 2010.

Not to sound morbid, but I'd like to see Feat inducted while the remaining members are still around.

An update from Paul:
lovin' life these days, time at home is good for the soul and my Hep C thing. Got a good report from my doc the other day that the liver is still working okay and still wants to keep me off the interferon, with the new drugs being developed there may be a 2 pill treatment for me at the end of the year with little or no side effects - i hope that this comes true - in the meantime i will continue to fight the good fight and thanks to one and all for all the well wishes ....
