I'm on episode 4 of Season 2, a ways to go.

I think I like the character of Jesse more than Walter, actually. Walter is really a bit more cold and calculating. Sure, he starts out sympathetic because of the crappy hand he has been dealt in life, but he is growing less so in my eyes as it progresses. Jesse otoh is just the wounded kid who was playing a role to ease his pain, and he has freaked when he found out it wasn't a game after all, but had serious real world results. I don't know if there is more of Jesse's backstory coming, but the father is an obvious perfectionist prik, and the second son will probably rebel some day as well.

But I have to say, they ended the series perfectly. One of the best finales since Six Feet Under.
