The stomach-turning truth about what the Neanderthals ate

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/10/20/the-stomach-turning-truth-about-what-the-neanderthals-ate/

“Many hunter-gatherers, including the Inuit, Cree and Blackfeet, eat the stomach contents of animals such as deer because they are good source of vitamin C and trace elements,” said Stringer. “For example, among the Inuit, the stomach contents of an animal are considered a special delicacy with a consistency and a flavour that is not unlike cream cheese. At least that is what I am told.”

I am enjoying watching today's neanderthal party eat their own.

Really if you can think of it someone is eating it, just about everything that crawls walks swims or flies is eaten by someone.

Good source of protein is to get earthworms and leave them in a container of moss for a couple of days then dry them on hot stones from the fire. When they dry hard crush them to powder to add to broth or stews for extra protein. Good thing is you can even taste them.

That's ham and eggs for breakfast.

Neanderthals took care of their elderly and injured. That's a moral standard much higher than the Repugs aspire to.
