does anyone else get sick from 3-d/IMAX movies?

Went to see Gravity with the family tonight. Spent the whole time with the glasses off & my head between my knees. Hope I get my equilibrium back so I can sleep.

1. Yes, 3-D gives me headaches so I can't go to them

Some people will not be able to tolerate the effects of 3-D. They also have 4-D here in Korea which is fun because the seats move and if there is water you get wet. I'd really like to experience that once. The tickets are really expensive like almost $20.

2. Yes, the IMAX has bothered me before. I've been hesitant about seeing Gravity

because of the same thing you're describing and from what others have said about the movie. Hope you're feeling better now.

I don't get headaches, but for me they blur up the action. I lose track of what's going on in action sequences from all the data my brain is trying to process.

4. If we sit too close to the screen it does. Better off farther back in the theatre. n/t

I thought I was just wierd. Good to know (although I am still wierd) it's not just me.

6. 3D is annoying now that the novelty has worn off.

I make sure to go to the 2D versions.
