My husband's Xmas gift came today-inversion table.

He put it together and tried it out. And wanted to stay hanging upside down and take a nap. Which of course would be a very bad idea! I let him try it for about 3 minutes, I think it was too steep an inversion for first time but he really, really liked. I tried it for about a minute, came up with vertigo. Ah well. Glad I'm not a fruitbat as I would be flying into things after sleeping. 15 minutes later and I still feel queasy.

But I don't hang completely upside down with all my weight on my feet. I've worked up to about 15 minutes at a time. It really has helped my back.

I couldn't stand seeing him limping and wincing all the time. The inversion table just makes so much sense! I will try it again at a less sharp angle and see if that works better for me. Vertigo is a recent phenomenon for me and when it comes on it's very unpleasant. Haven't had it for a while and don't want it.

The one I bought is from Ironman. It was not quite $150. I figure that's less than the copays for 4 visits to the physical therapist and he can treat himself 2 or 3 times a day for years, a bargain.

His back and legs are already significantly improved. He is using it 2-3 times a day as he works from home and it is in the middle of his office. I would absolutely recommend getting one.

I love mine!! I love to hang at a 180 degrees… some people just can't invert no matter the practice. People have tried out my inversion table with varied reactions: "Wow!" to "QUICK, get me up!!!!"
