I use it a lot during periods when GD breaks down...and I am wondering...I guess all the data for the trash-this-thread I create is stored on my computer...
When GD goes into remission, is it possible to recover the 4 megabytes of memory that was used up storing the addresses of the threads I trashed or do I have to wait until I get a new computer?

(13,409 posts)A megabyte is a million bytes. That may seem like a lot, but not once you realize that a terabyte hard drive is a trillion (million, million) bytes. However, having too much junk stored in your temporary internet files can slow down things a bit. If you ever want to regain that space, simply flush your internet cache. To do that in IE, click on Tools, then Internet Options and then 'Delete'.
