1. I saw Thompson last summer

He was the opening act on a bill that included My Morning Jacket, Wilco, and Bob Dylan. It was a very good show, but unfortunately most of the crowd didn't show up until after Thompson's set. Wilco brought him back out to play on a few songs after everyone was there.

And the Richard Thompson trio is a very good live act. Heavy on the blues rock tip. That song is one of the slower ones he played. I remember him speaking to the audience about his new album.

My wife and I are going to his show on Feb. 22. It's been about 20 years since I last saw him perform, so I'm really looking forward to it.

He's doing a solo acoustic show at the Barrymore Theater. Opening act is his son, Teddy.
