A co-worker I often hassled (the hassling was mutual) had irritated me right before April Fool's Day. So on AFD, while he was at lunch, I lifted the handset on his desk telephone and squirted some ketchup on the earpiece and the handle. Then I called him from a conference room, and giving a fake name (one he'd be motivated to respond to), left a message on his voicemail asking him to return the call. When he came back from lunch, he saw the light indicating he had a message, picked up the receiver and put it to his ear and started to call in to check the message. Naturally he got ketchup all over his hand, ear, and cheek, and a little in his hair! Oh, he was P1SSED!!1! At first he blamed another co-worker, but when that didn't work, he figured out it was probably me, and he called me every name in the book. Two years later, just mentioning "ketchup" would shut him up, and he still fumed about it, but he never managed to get even!
