Speed trap Ahead

Small Ok town generates over 70% of its revenue from issuing speeding tickets. Told by state and federal gov. that it must stop practice.

When I lived in Pa. there was a stretch along the river road between two little towns where you could let it rip at 50 MPH for about 5 miles or so. However, when you got to the next "town" (really a collection of run-down houses hugging the sides of the road) they posted a 15 MPH limit for about 1/2 mile. The cops would be sitting beside the road at the 15MPH sign and ready to spring. My son got two tickets alone for going 25 and 30. They depended on that income to support their town, and like the OK town mentioned above , had 4 cops for about 350 people.
