St Valentine Gunned Down...

The suspect who was linked to several high-impact crimes of passion, was killed after an exhaustive man hunt in Matamoros, Mexico, apparently in a territorial dispute.

5. Not at all - The meaning is not obvious

It is a heraldic name; goes back to the reconquest of Spain from the Moors. It is the name given to Santiago (St James) patron saint and defender of Spain.

It is now the name of a city in northern Mexico involved in some of the bloodiest territorial fights between drug lords.

Hence, the black humor...

6. Well, here's some good vibes for the People of Matamoros.

Hopefully appropriate in this context.

7. That looks more like a fellow named "Cupid"

He's a known troublemaker, a hired "bow" for the diamond, floral and chocolate rackets. We'll have to wait and see what the DNA results tell us but make no mistake, this was one of the bad guys.
