What creative type craft thing are you most proud of having made? I used

to sew swimsuits and made some great ones and some not so great ones. But my favourite craft thing has to be when I glue gunned dried flowers to a mirror. It was gorgeous. The flowers were all turquoise and burgundy and surrounded the frame. I loved myself a glue gun at that stage of my life. I sold it to a 12 year old girl in a yard/sidewalk sale.

The lower one is a flintlock re creation circa 1770
The upper one is a re-creation of cap lock Vincent made between 1830 to 1860.

The lower one took me over three years to complete but I was working at the time and had never done anything like this before. The upper one took about five months but I was retired by then and had learned quite a bit from building the first one.

This is the first shot from the flintlock at the range.

I made the hunting pouch and powder hornes too. Keeps me out of trouble. Idle hands...

I've done a bunch of sewing, and knitting over the years, but this camera strap has brought me more happiness than those...

The camera can be replaced, but not this strap!

The better you do it, the less anyone knows you did it.

I only did it for about a year and I really loved it. I'd have to get back in shape to do it again. I've got a few lopsided, pretty crude but overall really cool bowls that I'm inordinately proud of.
