I've loathed country music for decades.

I got dragged to a Keith Urban concert against my will and Lady A was the opening act. The keyboard sound was huge, not like it sounds on the albums.

I've followed them ever since and they've acted as a gateway drug to New Country.

if you know this, but Roger Miller had a couple of serious songs as well. One of them, in fact, was downright depressing...

Gary P. Nunn and the Lost Gonzo Band. Brings me back to Austin in the early '70s.

And I'll definitely catch Steve Earle yet once more when he comes to this area with the Dukes.
