I'm taking a Continuing Education course on STD/HIV today and tomorrow.

I'm thinking of calling it 'Continuing Ed-vacation', instead. It's such a relief to have a few days off from the stresses of clinic.

Things are off to a good start. The first lecturer referenced Michelle Bachmann's idiocy regarding Human Papilloma Virus, and I got off a good joke at Crazy Lady's expense. The whole room laughed. It was fun...

Looking forward to some good learning the next couple of days...

The question was: "What was the specific virus about which Michelle Bachmann spread so much misinformation last year". The answer, of course, is the Human Papilloma Virus. 100% of the attendees answered correctly. I responded by saying: "100%, incidentally, is a score the Michelle Bachmann has never, ever received on any test."

That broke up the room.

I saw a lot of Obama 2012 bumper stickers in the parking lot this morning...

Aren't Continuing Ed classes great? I always loved going!

Learn cool stuff, and have a great day or two off from work...wow.

Loved your joke, too...

Have fun!

New and alternate ways of testing & diagnosing STD's. Plus techniques for obtaining a more comprehensive patient history. Good day all around.

I always appreciate your encouragement, CalPeg...
