how much they cost. And their site is coy about it. I suppose if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it.

Anyway, word on the street is you can get away with the small manual one for 25 grand, but the big motorized one with the remote will set you back 50 grand. And, of course, you need the right (expensive) house to put it in.

When I was about 14 I caught the tips of my fingers on one hand in the crack between two sections of an overhead garage door as it was closing. The counterweight had lost part of its weight and the door was closing faster than I thought it would. That, and when a door started to close on my fingers, were the only times I've fainted, so I notice pinch hazards!
