Food rave of the day: salmon

I'll be baking some for supper tonight--just butter, lemon zest and dill (salt and pepper).

It's a pretty big piece, so I imagine we won't finish it all. Probably make some salmon cakes for next week.

Tell me how you like to prepare it/eat it.

3. I normally either pan fry or grill ...

... but I like it just barely cooked through, and it's much easier for me to tell when it's done with those methods. Salmon cakes are good too, so is lox, and gravlox, and salmon salad, and ....

9. I love salmon! Salmon burgers are my kids' favorites. Salmon bisque is my husband's favorite

baked in butter, lemon juice, white wine and capers, with fresh parsley on top at the end. Yum.

My favorite is smoked/lox, followed by grilled. Any leftovers get eaten the next day. When I make salmon cakes, I used canned.
