I'll be baking some for supper tonight--just butter, lemon zest and dill (salt and pepper).
It's a pretty big piece, so I imagine we won't finish it all. Probably make some salmon cakes for next week.

(11,360 posts)... but I like it just barely cooked through, and it's much easier for me to tell when it's done with those methods. Salmon cakes are good too, so is lox, and gravlox, and salmon salad, and ....

(32,080 posts)My favorite is smoked/lox, followed by grilled. Any leftovers get eaten the next day. When I make salmon cakes, I used canned.
BTW, this stuff is really good on salmon (grilled/planked, broiled, or baked):
