3. Last Spring I found a morel the size of my fist...

Couldn't believe the size and where I found it.

I've got a great Puffball spot that I can consistently count on.

Actually there were a few spots. One had HUGE puffs.

I loved grilling them with butter, garlic and shrimp.

I always wonder how early humans tested the mushrooms for toxicity (hmm - bob's dead, don't eat those)

There are one or two at the link that are, however.

Best case is to never assume they are edible unless you are with a trained mycologist.

It's not worth it.
