The one thing I do not miss about with my partying days back in the 90s....

Yeah I was a party girl and I still like to bring her out of the closet from time to time. But the one thing I remember about clubbing and bar hopping back in the 90s was all those smoky places. The next morning I would wake up and the thing that would disgust me the most was how I smelled like I took a bath in a giant size dirty ashtray. Especially my hair - the smell would just cling to it.

I am the first to admit that I love the public smoking bans but I also know that I still have friends who smoke and enjoy a beer and it kinda sucks for them. I will say this much - I have been in bars and around those people using e-cigs and guess what, I don't have that nasty smoke smell in the morning if I am sitting next to one of them.

Because there is nicotine in e-cigs I agree that there should be some form of regulation including not selling the product to minors. But I really hope that states don't start cracking down on e-cig users at bars and restaurants.

and I still get looks when I vape in public places. I tell them that it's water vapor, not smoke, and their response is still negative, like I somehow got around the social stigma of smoking indoors by not smoking indoors and making people think I'm smoking indoors.
Some people can't stand change. It makes them uneasy.

I know the public smoking ban has hit some business hard when it came to no indoor smoking so I would hope that the e-cigs could help. Maybe I don't want to sit next to an e-cig smoker while I'm dining but why not allow them to be used at the bar area?
