(21,925 posts)Buffy Sainte-Marie's Universal Soldier. I was reminiscing this morning about 1970 when I lived in the SF Bay area and helped organize a rally to support the Indians on Alcatraz island. One of Buffy's friends, an Indian on Alcatraz named Herbie Butler asked her to come to the rally and perform for free. She was great and performed for hundreds of kids who came out to see her.

The audiobook is Seanan McGuire's An Artificial Night read by Mary Robinette Kowal.
