This past weekend I was treated with a random act of kindness.

I was not having a great weekend and feeling rather down.

This person treated me to a meal at a nice steak house. Told me to get anything I wanted. I had a nice t-bone steak.

These person wanted nothing in return but to cheer me up.

I told her I would return the favor one day and she said not necessary.

I will do the same for some else soon to pay it forward.

This simple act of kindness really did cheer me up.

I was so taken by this kind act by someone I really didn't know that well.

I love it when someone does that for me! I enjoy it as much and maybe even more when I can do it for someone else. This sounds like a really good person. And you seem really cool to appreciate it enough to share here. It sounds like you both should become even better friends. Cheers.

I had lost the money I was given to buy lunch.

A very kind couple standing next to me paid for my lunch.

Many years later I was at a Burger King and a little kid didn't have enough money to buy his and his sister's meal.

I had never forgot about this couple helping me.

I paid for the bill for the kid and told him to keep his money. He tried to give me the money he had and I said no.

I told him I when I was a kid someone helped me out. Just go have some fun with the money.

I had paid back the couple after many years in the same Burger King Store near my old house.

The couple that helped me paid about $1 for my meal back then.

That dollar went a long way.
