Tonight AT&T turns off my internet

They said I have not paid my bill since February. I told them I get paid on the 1st but they said too bad, pay your bill or you lose the internet! No one will listen to reason. I guess I may be off till the 1st of the month. I don't know what they have been doing with my payments...drinking beer on it or something.

Anyway see you next month, UNLESS of course, it takes me 3 weeks to get my internet turned back on... bastards.

in years because of the expense. I hate hearing stuff like this. Hope I don't sound like an advertisement but there is a company called FreedomPop that, depending on where you live, will provide 500MB a month free 4G internet on sprint's network through a mifi device you purchase for a one time fee of around $50. Living in a big city you'd probably be a good candidate for the free 4G coverage which is not everywhere. Otherwise, the 3G coverage is $3.99 a month. But again, you're limited to 500MB per month. I use it as emergency backup when I'm out so it lasts me the whole month. But you would have to use it sparingly if you wanted to use it as your main internet connection. Videos eat up a lot of data so you'd have to curtail the video watching. They have other plans if you need more data though. If you ever sign up, make sure you unclick the box that says "automatically rollover your leftover data" or they'll charge you an extra $3.99 per month to forward your leftover data to the next month. Hope this helps.

Its bad enough knowing that AT&T will turn off your internet but to have your computer blow up on you with a virus is just as bnow ad.. I am lucky to have a lap top, but ppnow I have two desk tops ready to go to the shop. One with a virus and one..just stopped and went dark. I will have to see which one is more salvageable and hopefully have it fixed. Will keep my fingers crossed that my lappy doesn't drop dead in the mean time.
