15. Please don't be jealous. The winter has been just terrible here

It's beautiful country, but this has been one long and snowy winter. And we are pretty near Vermont, which I also love. I spent my childhood summers there at a camp on Lake Champlain, have been going back every summer since one of my camp friends moved there. However, she's on a dirt road off of a dirt road in a very small town, so she really gets snowed in. Guess I should be grateful that the snow plows eventually reach us...

We are getting the back side of the Nor'easter that headed farther east, missing us! Heading to Schroon Lake tomorrow to check out the snow level at camp. Cannot wait for June and the arrival of spring in the Adirondacks!

There aren't a whole lot of us, think there are more on Free Republic. *sigh* I'm in Queensbury within sight of West Mtn. My friend said we might be getting some more snow/ice/rain tonight, but nothing yet. It really has been an awful winter. Hope that the snow is melting at your camp. It was a sweltering 31 degrees when I passed the bank on Glen St. tonight!
