Mutant 15-Inch Rat Terrorises Family After Chewing Through Concrete Wall (GRAPHIC PICS)

“I thought to myself that she was just over exaggerating and told her not to worry until I got home,” he said.

When he returned he discovered his wife Signe, 39, had banned their children from the kitchen and their pet cat had been attacked by the “monster” rat.

Bengtsson-Korsås soon realised the job was too big to tackle alone and called in pest control.

And this is where the tale gets truly terrifying…

The rat was apparently so huge that despite being caught in a spring-loaded trap, it would not die and continued to run around the kitchen with the trap around its neck.

I'd burn the place down and move across the country.

There are rats, bigger than cats. Any how, it was at my grandmother's house, I saw movement at the bushes, and being the brat that I was...

Threw a rock at the general vicinity. What came out, was bigger than a cat, and I am not including the tail yet. That slimy, wormy looking tail...

I fu-in hauled ass, and ran towards the dogs, who ran away with me, all the way to a room.

I don't care if I have a stick or something.

I still keep thinking about how that thing could jump on you.

That's about average for a Norwegian Roof rat (which is neither Norwegian nor roof dwelling, go figure).
