Thanks for the reminder -- if it's not windy tomorrow, I need to pull out the torch and burn this year's infestation.

Goatheads, bindweed and mosquitoes -- three species I would not miss.

I use Slime® sealant on my townie 'going to the store' bike and Kevlar skins on my country ride. Puncture thorns are a real nemesis from late Fall until the first storms wash and blow the thorns off the road. Interesting, this year was nice because our drought mostly held that satanic plant in check.
