Yeah Clapton was necessary but as I said Bruce made a big difference in what got played and how it sounded.

was to have as many discussions between foot and hand as percussively possible ala Art Blakeley. But may of Creams most iconic tunes, like white room (originally in4/4 time, later in5/4 time) were presented by Baker, and he laughed them off, saying no no no.... you have set it to unorthodox timing to pit each musician and each solo against each other in combat.
