I highly recomend "The Sunset Limited"

The setting and entire movie takes place in a crappy apartment (which I guess is somewhere north of Manhattan based on the 155th subway sign in the opening shots) with just Samuel L. Jackson & Tommy Lee Jones.

As an either agnostic & atheist Samuel Jackson's character is almost convincing to me as an evangelical but the Jones' character as on the completely opposite end. I actually have felt the very same way he does but I keep going for some reason. Without giving too much away on a movie built on content I'm almost surprised the actors didn't kill themselves after filming. It becomes that depressing.

Either way, great film that will keep you thinking after watching.

Jackson has a lot of stage work under his belt, and Jones is fun to watch no matter what he does.
