Looks like a domestic kitten, just with big ears. In some, the ears seem so disproportionate, it's like a caricature. Here are a few more:

(238 posts)Seen one at a zoo.
brer cat
(24,565 posts)I have seen bobcats in the national forest around where I live, but I have never seen a cat with those distinctive ears.
OrwellwasRight
(5,170 posts)And some people keep them as pets. I'm not a huge fan of using exotics as pets though. Let them be free! And adopt from shelters!
brer cat
(24,565 posts)after I found out what they were, and was shocked to see the ads for pets. I am also opposed to exotics as pets...we have an over abundance of domestic animals desperately in need of homes, and the wild ones need to remain in their natural habitat.

(5,170 posts)Just like a cat. One of mine is ALWAYS walking on my keyboard. She kills me.
brer cat
(24,565 posts)We are cat-less since the real brer cat decided to live elsewhere. I have had several who could have posed for that gif. They are a hoot!

(3,208 posts)It is the best way to start the day/week. Especially this week, with the grandkids and husband on winter break and confusing me about what day of the week it is! Now I have my bearings! And laughs!
That has got to be the cutest snowman I have ever seen!
Peace!Love and Happiness for us all!

(5,170 posts)My faves are both bird photos (the one with the blue bird is spectacular), the praying mantis, and the stealth level, falling, and sweater eating ones.
Hard to believe that Venus kitty is real, though I'm sure it very well is. Kittehs have amazing coloring!

(9,298 posts)My otherwise perfect 2 year old grandson consistently rejected a teddy bear identical to that one. He literally threw him on the floor or ignored him. But I leave poor teddy on the couch so that my cat, Rufus, can make him feel part of the family. Rufus cannot stay away from teddy, and jumps up multiple times a day to nuzzle and knead him, often falling asleep across his body. Love them all, and you too, Salmon.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and all you love.

(28,347 posts)Looks like a vaudvillian missing his top hat, cane and tap shoes.
But honestly the first thing that came to mind was the coffee drinking wise cracking aliens in Men in Black.
Bet he sabotaged the poor, hung over Halloween kitty, too.
Sunday is not complete without this thread.

(35,669 posts)The vaudevillian is so colorful, so over-the-top. I have never seen such a magnificent bug!
I have a wallpaper file called "cute bugs," and he goes in it.
Here's a little kitty shot for you, dmr:
Only right now she's sleeping away in a little ball to my right.
Thanks for the laughs today, SCE!
