Please welcome me in joining our new Family member: Sir Duke!!!

(cross posted from the Pets group)

Hubby thought of Duke at first and then I realized, since he's an english setter, he deserved a proper name: Sir Duke.

And then I realized Sir Duke is one of my favorite songs ever! He's a two year old English Setter. We adopted him from the Welfare league of Alexandria.

So…. he has a theme song that matches his personality and the feeling it bring with him coming home to us!

He's settling in very well tonite.

Much better than we thought he would. he's not nervous, and keeps trying to sleep except for every time I get up and walk to the computer.

Good on you, Raine, for adopting an older dog. You're a human after my own heart.
