I'm just hanging out. No particular reason to go to bed.

(112,189 posts)Nothing happening here though. I'm playing video games, listening to music and posting stories about polar bears that might have difficulty getting boners.

(112,189 posts)if there was an image of a polar bear's penis. However, I wasn't able to find a picture showing the disappointment of Mrs. Polar Bear.

(5,946 posts)but here is a topic to ruminate over - I was shopping for food and I look in th freezer section and see a package with Koch foods on the top corner - they make foods? are they oil based?
I just had to back away. slowly, but away.

(2,682 posts)Yup, still up. Actually, this is my usual schedule. I go to bed around 3:00am and get up around 9:00am. I get the usual amount of sleep but I just sleep different hours. Must be my body clock.
I'm working on finding the ancestors of Catherine Farnham Beaumont, born around 1550 and died 1621. It continues to amaze me how much information can be found on the internet. When I started genealogy research about 40 years ago, it was a long and arduous process of letter-writing and Saturdays spent at the library, interspersed with the occasional road trip.
Tomorrow is the Asian American Film Festival; a friend and I are going to two movies. Sunday, another two movies: two of the foreign film Oscar nominees.
It seems that we are in for some rain the next couple of days. The last 2 days have been sunny and beautiful.
Take care......

(10,418 posts)Actually, I'm not usually up quite this early, but I'm usually up by 5AM even on the weekend unless I drink a bunch of beer the night before. And I'm finding as I age, beer is becoming less attractive and coffee more so.
Joe Shlabotnik
(5,604 posts)because usually I'm up at 5:15 am. But I booked a 4 day weekend, specifically to to do this, and rest up my aching joints, and sleep off my exhaustion. Work has been a grind lately, and I had a vacation day to use up (plus a long weekend in these parts) before my contract ends. I'm enjoying the sloth and gluttony!

(21,046 posts)Practiced the piano for two and a half hours. I practice on a Kurz.
I should get good if I keep this up!! Beethoven (sonatas), Chopin(waltzes), Mendelssohn (songs without words), Bach two-part inventions (or Contraptions as PDQ Bach would say).
I should practice at least an hour a day. I've been doing two hours every other day. Should help clean up my sloppiness if I pay more attention to what I'm doing.
We need a piano player smilie.

(51,308 posts)That's a good reason to be up!
