If you hit "post preview" when you compose a post instead of posting it, you'll get the exact same view as if you had posted it without actually posting it.

Also, if you are wondering how to post a picture, I can tell you how to do that. It looks to me as if you've tried to post a pic directly from your hard drive. That won't work here.
